Thomas Seddon Taliaferro (1865-1940) was a Wyoming lawyer and stockman during the first half of the twentieth century. Born in Gloucester County, Virginia, Taliaferro moved to Wyoming in 1883 and was admitted to the Wyoming bar in 1900. From 1900 until his death, he operated a successful corporate law practice in Rock Springs, Wyoming. William Booth Taliaferro of Dunham Massie, Gloucester, Va., served in the Confederate Army; represented Gloucester County in the Virginia House of Delegates, 1850-1853 and 1874-1879; and served as a judge of the Gloucester County Court, 1891-1897.
